The 2 meter mobile in the upper left is FT 2500, I bought one a month or so ago that was never used, still in box...ten years old.

I have three Yaesu products in my shack. A FT-950 that I bought new in June 2010. This radio is in line with an Ameritron AL-80A amp. I use a heil GM 5 mic mounted on a boom. I always get very good audio reports with this set up. A FT-8800, bought the same day as the FT-950. To be honest I am not really impressed with this radio due to the fact it gets bombed by intermod. > A FT-101E. This rig belonged to my late Father. He bought it new in Sept. 1977. It was his first rig. The price on that radio back then was $995 plus taxes. When you think about it that was a lot of money back then. Compared to the price of the FT-950 I bought in June that FT-101E was quite expensive. The FT-101E still operates as it should after having a tune up. I turn it on a couple times a week and check into some nets with it. With a Turner Plus Three desk mic I get pretty good audio reports.

Well I am all Yaesu with the exception of a Chinese HT.
I have a New FT-950, FT847 in the shack. I use the FT-847 for Satellites, along with the Yaesu G-5400B Rotor. Mobile I have a FTM-350R for APRS and a FT-847D with a ATAS 120A antenna. Looking to get a FL-2100B Amp and that will round out the Yaesu stuff.

Have had a number of Yaesu rigs over the years. Someone posted a pic of a Tempo One, which I think I remember was a Yaesu FT-200. The 101's were legendary...B's, E's, EE's, etc. Here's a couple of pics of my FT-901DE/ Bought it as a junker parts rig and decided to restore it in '91. Been running it regularly ever since. Use it mostly on 40, 80, and 160m AM, but it's a great all around rig and was a hotdog contest righ back in it's day. Dave WB4IUY www.WB4IUY.net
