Hi folks......
Just joined the board and Im into AM. I have a lot of old and homebrew am stuff.
Wondering if anyone else on the board is into the same stuff.

nice too see you here bill i am in too the old am stuff right now i am working on a old espey R-366 but have a lot of other stuff im try'ing to do too

I think there are not to many AM'ers on this board not to mention home brewers......anyway keep in touch.

Into AM and boatanchors here... I just uploaded a bunch of my older gear pics to the "Studio B" section of my page. I work AM most every morning around 3.705, and there are several folks there. Much less congested than up around 3.880-3.885, lots of people work SSB in the AM window up there and make a mess.

I also work 21.420 on 15m during the day (when off work or on weekends) , there are lots of folks in Europe on AM on 15m.

Hi There, I've recently 'aquired' a Heathkit DX100U, in the process of a re-furb of it, doesn't sound too good on AM so I'm replacing the audio preamp electrolytics and giving it a good clean up.

If you're not already a member, pop over and register on AMFone.net . There's a huge wealth of old-time AM'rs on there that can surely have some tips and tricks for the DX-100 to improve the audio.
