This was my first new rig way back in the late 1970s. When I returned to the hobby recently after a break of 12 years I couldn't resist buying another when I saw it for sale, even though I have a modern ICOM.
I keep the Kenwood for CW as it has a rally fantastic RX plus the CW filter.  This one will stay with me. It runs perfectly and cost around $200. thats about one months supply of petrol (gas) for a lifetimes pleasure with the rig.

Yes. it is indeed a Kent.  Cheesy it connects into an electronic keyer I made which fits at the back of the rig as the TS530 doesn't possess one.
