Used to have many hobbies and they would change from year to year, but the main ones would be (after Ham radio of course) Photography, off roading and sailing.

Most of my hobbies have gone by the wayside; such as sailing, swimming, fishing, scuba diving etc.
Now . . . other than ham radio, I spend my time clearing my land out in the piney woods of East Texas.
Right now I'm cutting down dead trees, and cutting them up into logs, then splitting for firewood. I've got two racks (about one cord) done.

Over the years too many different ones to count. But highlights are: Lapidary (stone cutting and polishing) Fishing, Hunting, Backpacking, Woodworking, Wood turning, Tooling Leather, Counted Cross stitch, Knife Making. Auto work, photography, Computers Most I just wanted to learn how and once i did I kind of lost interest and would move on to something new. The ones I have kept up would be photography, and most outdoors activities (i am currently very involved with the Boy Scouts).

Photography when i have the time and something that i want to shoot other than the moon or sun sets and rises,
gas r/c trucks and electric r/c planes,
other than that right now that's about it for now.

I golf and I golf a lot considering I live in South West Ontario. I have played close to 130 rounds this season, which starts in early April weather permitting. I am still playing I also go watch the local JR B hockey team play. Been doing that with my wife for 17 years. I do need a winter hobby because I am retired, but so far I have not come across anything that appeals to me. |

My other hobbies include reading, watching old movies(anything Bogart) and fishing. I did enjoy hunting and shooting , but after a defibrillator implant I can no longer shoot. I am left-handed and the device is on my left chest. Also play guitar. Taught myself to play 45 years ago and achieved a level of mediocrity that few ever attain. Hope to hear you on the bands.
