I'll stop off in Sevierville next week and drop off a Paragon and a Corsair for repair.

Make sure you tell leave them your Mame an Address. I sent Radio to them to repair about a month later got an e-mail wanting to know if I sent a radio to them to have repaired. they said didn't have a return address on it. I preregistered it with them with Mod & serial # Paper was in envelope attached and return address was on the outside of envelope. He kept insisting there was no return address but he got the money order that was in envelope.

I only had good experiences with them, I once ordered a new Omni VI [in 1992] by FAX at that time [pre-email] and I got rung by phone immediately to discuss some filters I had requested. And there was a problem once with the noise blanker and they immediately FAXed me instructions how to fix it. I hope the quality of service has not changed. I have this rig now for 20 years and there was no further issue with it!

I've heard nothing but good things about Ten-Tec. Back in July 2009, when the XYL and I were looking for a new HF rig for the shack, it was down to the Icom IC-756 Pro III, and the Ten-Tec Orion II. In the end, we went with the Pro III, mainly for money reasons.
I know Ten-Tec doesn't make these, but I'm looking to get one of their four band HB1B QRP CW transceivers in the near future.
