Hi, I passed the Technician exam in 2009, and am now planning to take the General, in a couple of weeks. I have been using the practise exams on http://www.hamexam.org on my computer, and the Ham Exam flash cards, on my iPhone. It looks like I should pass OK. I need to study and practise for the Extra too, because I might as well have a try at that too, after I pass the General... I hope this info helps ... Colin KC9PDY |

Sounds like you're ready. As Mark said, just relax, and go in there feeling confidant that you can do it. Take the Extra even if you don't get a chance to study...that way, you can get a feel for the test. Good luck!

I passed my tech with just that site, and I've been hitting it up again for my general. My test is in a week on 6/2. I'm passing 33/35 a majority of the time, and I'm ready to kill it  You'll do great! 73's Rich ~ W5RCH |

I too have been getting 32 or 33/35, I should pass OK.
Still not sure about the Extra. Like Jim says, I'll take it anyway, it will be good practise ...

Today, thanks to http://www.hamexam.org, I passed the General. So, I then took the Extra exam, and failed that, after the VE's checked the scores a couple of times, by only ONE answer !!!!  I had not studied for the Extra, so was not expecting to pass it ... I reckon I will wait until after July 1st, when the new question pool is active, study and take it again in the Fall ... I hope all the other people taking their exams this weekend, got the results they deserve ...  For the record, I have been studying the Flash Cards, on the http://www.hamexam.org mobile site, on my phone, during my break times, at work. I hope that helps ... Colin (KC9PDY/AG) |

Excellent, Grats Colin! I passed my General also, and my wife passed the Tech & General The flash cards on my phone were very helpful this time around. My 2yr old wouldn't let me study in the office much lol. We tried the Extra, but no go. It's ok though; I didn't think I would get it... this time 73's Rich ~ W5RCH |
