I redid my website starting from scratch. So I lost all the manuals and everything I had (over 10gb worth of manuals)
So who wants to help reload manuals? (only manuals that can not be uploaded is heathkit manuals cause well they are extremely anal over heathkit manuals)
Any Registered Member of w2ibc.com can upload manuals (Each Manual is Admin approved) Its easy to do.
Go to w2ibc.com register then slide over to the "Submit Manual" page Fill In the Info
Name
Description
Upload File Box
make sure the checkbox is checked next to Calculate file size
Select Category (Icom,Yaesu,kenwood,Alinco,ect)
And Sumbit!
that easy!
On really large files put them in a compressed ZIP or TAR.GZ file (saves a bit of space on the server)
FileTypes Preferred are .pdf .zip and .tar.gz
Also if the file name as odd characters in it (!@#$%^&*()\\\\|/? <) rename the file before upload.
example: IC-2100\\\\Service\\\\Manual.pdf will become IC-2100-Service-Manual.pdf
(servers dont like some characters in filenames)
