Has anyone ever wanted to communicate via computer point to point in an encrypted manner for use in an emergency without tying up D-Rats or any other mode? A friend of mine commented that it would be cool to find out if it would be possible to communicate without the internet between two or more computers by just using routers. I think it is possible as a router is a transceiver that has a Omnidirectional antenna that is transmitted to the computer via WiFi. I know very little in the way of networking and the like. What do the members think (and know).
