I got a meeting with the county emergency management in the morning.  Going to talk ham radio with him, more so RACES.

So far he seems pretty receptive to the idea from the messages we've been sending back and forth, which is good news. Not to mention he knows of the benefits we have to offer since they did utilize us 2 years ago for the tornado recovery, so another plus. Not to mention the county em to the south of us is a ham and can back me up if need be.

Been trying to do this for the past year, and finally got in the door.
