Antennas – main subject: Which antenna is the best? To answer this question you should know what is possible at your qth. + I live near the middle of the City of Hannover in Northern Germany, in a house, where neighbours live near to each others. + To avoid any trouble and to get high performance there is only one solution: One frequency range – one antenna. + My favourite frequency ranges are those, those enable me to get contacts on air to Hams and friends all over the world. + So I have put my SOLARCON Imax 2000 on top of the roof to serve my absolute favourite frequency range of ten meters (28 MHz). + And I keep using monoband wire dipoles to serve 20m, 17m, 15m and 12m. In every case one balun made by DX-EGINEERING is in action. Changing frequency range means changing wires – one pair for each range. And there are very nice results. + To serve 160m, 80m, 40m and 30m I go out „p", „m" or fieldday. + 73 de DH4AAD +++

HRN, home for Hams' common

interests and talks all over the world

Hi Hams! I say: Its a very nice idea to create HRN.

There are lots of social networks in the net.

But there is no one especially created for hams

and their common interests.

I hope, some more – for exemple – european Hams

will join very soon and build a great family in adition,

however, to their rf activities on alle frequency ranges,

Hams are allowed to use. This is my opinion. +
