Just Completed a very successful day operating GB2GVS (Greham Village School) - This is a small rural school with only sixty children - Great day was had by all - All children between the age of 6 and 10 years of age. We had 41 of the children through the station, all wrote out and sent their name in Morse Code and were awarded a certificate. All 41 spoke on the Radio to pass greetings and ask questions, their radio procedure would put a lot of Hams to shame hi hi. The following countries were spoken to USA, Canada, Japan, UK, Switzerland and Norway. It was so popular that at the end of the day 20 children came back for another go on the radios. All the Children will receive a School Radio Day Certificate on Friday at the school assembly. i would like to thank all the participating Stations for taking the time to talk to our children and giving something back to the hobby. Thanks Guys you were great.
